Warning for hash makers on V6 (or if you're updating)
Harvest Right firmware version 6 comes with a lot of changes. Some good, mostly bad. It does open up the potential for Wi-Fi control, but sadly we've seen a lot of makers ruin batches of hash by not being careful. The new V6 firmware moves the Harvest Rights even further towards being a plug-and-play, pure autopilot unit.
What does this mean for your hash?
It can get wayyyyy too hot if you're not careful. Below is an example of what can happen if you run it from the normal 'START' button.

How to avoid
You must start in CUSTOM every time otherwise the freeze dryer will default to auto mode and heat your hash up to 160°F+
Disable end of batch tray warming by setting the time to 0:00 and the temperature as low as it goes (just for precaution). If you don't do this, your hash will get heated to whatever temperature you have set at the end.
In summary, ALWAYS start your FD from the 'CUSTOM' button and make sure your tray warming is set to 0:00 before every run.
Other issues that we're seeing:
V6 is pulling a much deeper vacuum than what we've seen in the past, which could be boiling off terps unnecessarily
Initial freeze is sailing way past the set point, which isn't inherently bad, but gives you less control over times
We will continue to update this post as we learn more about the quirks of this new software version.
